Students from Aces High, myself included, just started a FLL at Suffield's middle school. We signed up late so we are a little behind, but catching up fast on this years project. Our team is number 4466 The Bionic Bulldogs. We have a few issues with the team, and want to ask your opinons about how to go around these issues.
First off we had 30 some odd number students sign up an we can only take 10. We dont have the money right now to start a second team, but we really want to. Is there any way we can get funding? And if not what kind of fundraising do you suggest we do? We have thought of car washes or bake sales, but they dont seem like they will make enough money to give us what we need for a second team.
Secondly some of the students on the team need more attention then others, and some are a little of special needs. If anyone who knows how to cooperate with these students and talk with them about technology could you please help out with some suggestions. A lot of the students from Aces High havent exactly had much expierence teaching and mentoring younger children about technology and have a little difficulty talking with these children. So, if you have any suggestions, again, can you let us know. We want this team to run smoothly without putting anyone aside. Our team is huge with teamwork.
