Nope, no modification of the RAGE robot was needed. We were just sitting there, and Ogre decided to see if he could score one of the mini tetras with their robot. Their arm couldn't pick them up off the floor, and I didn't have my loading zones, so I just put them on their gripper. Then we tried to see if the Vex robot could play defense and prevent the other from capping. RAGE wasn't bad at capping, but it was slow lining it up, so Vex would win in the capping speed. But RAGE won when it came to height, as Ogre used RAGE's robot and lifted the mini goal off the ground about five feet, which was out of reach of my Vex robot. It was really fun to watch, maybe we'll do it again tomorrow. Here are a few more pictures from the event:
Then, a little after that little game, we decided to make a second tetra-scoring Vex robot out of parts in only one Kit. So Amy (another student from 228) and I took the Squarebot, and less than 15 minutes later, we now had two Vex robots capable of scoring tetras.
