What about Jupiter's cloud bands, red spot, and moons? The rings of Saturn? Nebulae, globular clusters, double and triple stars? The occasional comet? There's
plenty to see with a small telescope.
Sometimes it's inspiring to see something with your own eyes, even if it's not as spectactular as the color-processed pictures from a multibilliondollar space telescope.
