Re: RahChaCha Ruckus Thanks

Congrats to Rah Cha Cha for pulling off a great event. The alliance non-selection process made for a fair and balanced elimination – especially since the first seed got a bye in the quarters.

I’d like to thank two of our team members for going above and beyond the call of duty. First was Jon (now know as Binary Jon) who got rear-ended Wednesday night and injured enough that he couldn’t help deploy the robot. Second was Eric, who ended a state-regional soccer, game in S. E. Michigan at 8:15 P.M. Friday, and then made it all the way to Rochester, NY before going to emergency and getting seven stitches to close the gash over his eye. Either one of them had good reason to stay home, but they knew we had only enough to make a drive team. They truly deserved to win it.

We’d like to apologize for getting rough out there while a nasty thermal intermittent problem plagued our electronics in about half of our matches. Our rookie, Binary Jon, was at the controls when the lift motor first went quiet and I told him to play defense. He just said, “WooHoo”, and went about earning my new nickname for him – He’s a zero or a one.
