wow wow wow I think your missing another one of the greatest guitarists of all time John Petrucci who has both a band and solo projects. The band Dream Theater, in my opinion one of the best bands ever!

Dream Theater is Progressive Rock, let the instruments tell the story (even tho there are vocals). You know the band is good when you have 2 - 24 min songs and a 42min (9 part but all one) song.
