Re: girls: what's the lamest pickup line u've got from a guy at robotics comp?

lol since i noticed this thread was active the other day, i figured i'd post on it since i just thought of an incident from last year. this is from the jersey regional, and i apparently used a pickup line on a guy, not the other way around. i was actually talking to him about how we first met, because i'm still friends with him.. and i was like hey is that considered a pickup line? and he's like yes it iss. so yeah, the following: we were both human players for our teams, and really bored standing in queue. i was tired of standing, so i went and sat next to him (not close, just like.. same general area =p) on the table he was already sitting on. and since i'd noticed earlier in the day while watching a match that he was a great human player, i basically just said, "hey. you're a great human player." and we started talking. i ended up talking to him for awhile that day, and exchanging screen names with him, and like i said before, we still talk. i've only hung out with him once outside of robotics, since he lives like an hour and a half away, but he's a really cool kid, and always fun to talk to. so yeah, i'm not really sure what my point in this was when i started typing, but i think it was just that i'll have to agree with a lot of people that posted previously in saying that honesty is the easiest. just say what's on your mind, or a simple 'hi,' or something of the sort. never fails =).

note to reader: please excuse my terrible grammar in the above ridiculously long paragraph.
