It is a shame that the training isn't available to a more geographically diverse group. Most of us won't have an opportunity to effectively utilize many of the enhancements. You really don't have the time to stumble through a new learning curve with that 6-week deadline bearing down. At a minimum an early distribution of the software would be a huge help. And some type of web-based sessions or tutorials would be greatly appreciated.
The best way to improve the Inventor competition submissions would be to enable greater competency among the students. While the workshops provided this year are certainly incredibly helpful and very much appreciated, they will only reach a tiny minority of FIRST participants ... Hello ... FIRST and Autodesk ...
