I think it makes them pretty credible.
After all, they were smarter than you. They paid $300 for something that accomplished the game goals just as effective as yours ever could have, seeing as pushing power was
never needed, whereas you spent six weeks designing and building a drivetrain that's living in 2002.
While you were off adding extra motors, they were busy building one badass robot.
