If you want to beat a smash mouth team by smashing mouths, you need to be better at smashing mouths then that team. It would take several years of drafting smash mouth players and picking up smash mouth free agents, and coaching in a smash mouth way to beat a smash mouth team by out smash mouthing them.
The better way to beat a smash mouth team is to exploit their weaknesses, not go right at their strengths.
