I'm applying to the mechatronics engineering program at the University of Waterloo. I figure it'll be cheaper to stay in Canada for the undergraduate degree, but I'll probably want a graduate degree from one of the major tech colleges in the States (plus there's the fact that I haven't taken the SATs).

I've heard that McGill's not all that it's cracked up to be; an abnormally large number of students tend to transfer to Concordia, Montreal's other English-language university, after their first year.
