The hyatt regency in cambridge is not within walking realities of the competition site. The site is only a mile away according to mapquest, but its not an easy route to walk (walk accross highway, intersections etc.) Unless you want to walk through Cambridge (and MIT so its not too bad
) and across the Harvard Bridge and then a good walk through boston until you find the arena, I don't suggest it. You use the T line, which is the public transportation system in Boston. Their is a station near the hyatt if I remember correctly, but if you have a large group it could get tricky. That could take you to the competition area.
