Re: Inductance of CIMs

You can't measure inductance with a multimeter and the measurement would only make sense if you were to measure each winding and average that data. As is, the brush assembly alternately contacts more than one winding at a time so mutual coupling will confuse the measurement as well. Any idea why the need for an inductance measurement? You might want to contact Mark McLeod, I think he has a better handle on this.
