Absolutely. BTW... If someone has a pointer to a thread or a whitepaper detailing the tables and code already done for this processor, go ahead and post it here.
[Note: The Kickoff occured yesterday...] Well, it's looking more and more
like I'm *right* about the new processor. They announced 4x increased
program space at the Kickoff (Hmmm... sound familiar?), though they didn't
detail the processor change, and has IFI changed their 2005 RC page yet.
(So, you CDF readers here now probably have more data than most.

Actually, one change: Looking at the specs again, 3936 bytes vs
2048 bytes isn't "slightly more", it's almost DOUBLE the SRAM
(~92% increase). However, I don't know if it'll all be OURS to use.
So go tell your programming gurus they might want to check out this
PIC18F8722 data page to get a head start on details like talking to
the enhanced serial ports, etc.:
