I also would like some feedback on your drive train. That is almost identical to what I have been envisioning for one of our future (near future I hope) designs. My belief is that it would be highly maneuverable and fairly responsive. Is that what you are finding? last year we used ACME casters

they also make some with plastic insted of steel ball bearings - which is what we used because they'll a lot lighter. they handle super smooth
