This has the potential to get very flamey and proabbly doesn't belong here in the first place, perhaps moderated discussion?
I do not consider myself an artist but I have worked hard with several of my cohorts to create some very popular flash videos. Eric Bauman takes various forms of stolen media, watermarks it as his own, and then reaps the profits gained by the advertising on his portal.
Newgrounds.com provides a similiar portal to ebaum's with one key difference. Content on Newgrounds can be fairly contested and removed at the authors request and credit is given to all those invovled in a piece of media's production.

I strongly resent such an implication. I would hope that the artists who create media for the web have an even higher level of understanding for the importance of appropriate ownership and copyright.
As a final note this "internet war" has had aspects involving acts of cyber crime. Members of YTMND banded together to crash the Ebaums portal Board. I do not condone these actions and hope all members of CD would realise the foolishness and the legal implications of such actions.
