KOP Transmission gear defect

One of our KOP transmission gears (one of the small ones with the hex hole) has a defect. The hex bore has a slight twist to it. It is the oddest thing. I don't know how it could have happened. It is slight, but definitely visible to the naked eye. We had to press the gear on the shaft, but luckily it still fit; tight, but we got it on without too much trouble.

Anyway, I just wanted to let you know in case anyone had a similar problem with getting that gear on.

Please respond if you have the same problem, so we can get an idea if we got the one unluck gear or if there are a few like this out there.
