If you read through the full transmission manual located at
http://www.ifirobotics.com/docs/2006...nual-rev-d.pdf, there are instructions starting on page 31 for assembling it using only one motor per transmission. You will need four 1/4"-20 x 3/8" cap screws, four 1/4" washers, and four 1/4"-20 nuts in addition to what is supplied in the kit.
