This is not correct. I think you are confusing 2 different rules.


Definition: HUMAN PLAYER: A pre-college student team member designated as the only team member permitted to
enter balls onto the field

Definition: COACH: A student or adult mentor designated as the team advisor during the match and identified as the
person wearing a “COACH” pin or button.

<G37> Team Member Ball Handling - Any HUMAN PLAYER, DRIVER, or COACH may handle balls that are
in the ALLIANCE ZONE during a match.


Everyone on the field team of an alliance can handle balls regardless of age but the only person who can put them on the field is the designated human player.
