Sorry could have sworn he used the PERM but after going back turns out I was wrong. Another thing to consider is that a lot of these robots are sponsored like us. Still, yeah they can be expensive. I seem to remember reading about a Battlebot mage from a bedframe and had a go kart motor to power it.
