Also realize we've gotten numerous reports of issues with some types of CD-ROM drives reading the Driver CD - it could be due to a bad batch of CDs from our duplication center, teams who have attempted to bit-copy the CDs have had miserable results which could point to bad disks.
Installation of the Driver CD is not required - the Driver CDs contain a lot of drivers that US-FIRST teams don't need unless you've got an NI-Scope or NI-Motion controller laying around, for example. Most teams only need to install LabVIEW and
NI-VISA, while NI Pilot Program teams need the additional download of
NI-DAQmx.
