Edit: Er, wait, I just remembered that I modified the CMUcam2 attached to my EDU-RC to derive it's internal +5v from the EDU-RC's +5v supply. So, I'm not sure if the +7.2v is available on the PWM outputs.
I simply use a 9 volt power supply I had laying around from some old device. Radio Shack, etc. has the male versions of those power plugs available to accept soldered wires.

If you happed to have old "brick" transformer power supplies laying around, they can come in handy for easy, (more) portable power.
