Dean is great and all, but let Capitalism take its path. If people start making knock-off Segways, let them. The customers will buy the higher quality one. If this one is not the one made by Segway, LLC. then shame on them. They'll have to create a
better version. Now the other company will have to one-up them to get back their market share.
In the end, the users benefit.
