Why else would you be spending four or more years in school other than to learn the skills you need to know and get the degree you need to get the job you want. People in FIRST have diverse interests but I would vouch that all of them go to college so they can pursue their interests and passions.

In an idealistic world college would be entirely about learning.
But we don't live in such a world. Ours is materialistic, thus college becomes job training.
