I know that for us at VCU last year. The award takes into account not just how much your team has spirit in the stands during matches, but also how the unity of your team drives the team to do what it does, and how it gets the community involved in the process. The thing you have to also think about is that Team Spirit, is not just about how much your team can cheer on your team during its matches, but how it also cheers for the alliance, and other teams at the competition as well.
