But in Inventor you DO have "construction" lines, points, and planes. You also have arrays and the ability to mirror 2-D and 3-D geometry/features (and even complete parts/assemblies). AND you have the power of a parametric model - VERY easy to make changes and study design options/iterations.
ENDURE THE PAIN of learning something new ... you'll be GLAD you did. I guarantee it!
