Other than that, your forum has like 20 forums. Personally, when first starting a forum, I find it easier to just have the bare minimum forums. Makes getting chat going a lot easier. I usually go with a forum for people to chat about whatever, one/two to chat about robotics, and maybe a few more for whatever else you might like: Rules, Announcements, etc. But that's just me.  |
Thank you Mike for the comments about the forum. My name is Chris Sorrells (aka Aristeo), and I am the administrator/owner of the forum. I regret to inform you that I am a freshman, and have no working knowledge of FIRST, nor any of the actual parts of the competition. I do, however, have a lot of knowledge in programming and web design, and I have made and am hosting many different forums and websites with several users, which the experience has allowed me to get the forum up to this point.
If you could point me in the right direction of what a "good" forum layout looks like, it would help me a lot. My team is happy just by the fact that we have a forum, but I would like every aspect of our forum to be the absolute best that it can be at this point.
I've redone the forum groups on it, tell me what you think
