In user_routines.c you’ll see this example line close to the end:

You can also set the following variables anywhere before a putdata()
  • User_Byte1
  • User_Byte2
  • User_Byte3
  • User_Byte4
  • User_Byte5
  • User_Byte6
So for example: User_Byte1 = 123;
