Re: globe motor

It has been years since we got the Globe folks onboard. The motor is definitely an automotive application. If memory servers they are used on many Ford and GM in an electric shift application for a 4WD-2WD transfer case. I believe they are still in production (trucks get retooled much less frequently that cars). Over the years, I have tried several times to get the exact years, makes and models. I think the data was posted on here several years ago, but I couldn't find it and even it I did, I suppose it would be out of date.

BUT... ...even with the data you'd be in a fix because the motor is not a "serviceable" item, meaning the entire shifter mechanism has to be purchased. This gets expensive very fast (I think it was something like $200 or so?).

Bottom line: The only real option is to trade other teams for them.

Sorry.
