to put this into perspective, at a competition your team will spend a TOTAL of about 20 minutes (average) with the robot on the field, playing matches

and over the 3 days your robot will spend about 1400 minutes in the pits.

Ive always said, all the real action and excitment at FIRST events happens in the pits. Keeping your bot at the top of its form, and making on-the-fly changes and modifications is where engineering genius meets the physical world!
