The renders were made in inventor studio within Inventor 10.
As chris31 explained, there is a PVC style conveyor system that takes in balls from the floor and loads them into the hopper, as well as the top of the hopper being wide open (and low!) for the HP to pop in some balls.
There is a similar conveyor system at the back of the hopper which is gravity-fed, and takes balls up to the position just before our launch spinwheels (which our launcher is on a turret) and will be pushed into the launch wheels via a small piston/mechanism.
We had originally planned a long guide strip to push up and down that would curve to adjust angle for the launcher, but as per the shooter rule clarification, this isn't allowed, so here you can see the compact version of the design with a smaller adjuster.
We're going to play around with it, and if we don't like it, we're probably going to make a permanent angle ramp off the shooter, and adjust velocity for ranged shots.
We expect to probably make shots at least anywhere within the scoring half of the field, if not a good portion behind the center line if needed.
I will probably post an update with some pics of the real bot so far to get an idea of how everything functions.
