We are ALL rookies! Our Robotics team has won some local competitions (ISRAEL), and even placed 3rd in an international event last year, but we have never competed in anything like FIRST.
The cool thing is that we started out with maybe 20 kids and 3 mentors, and now we are up to 50 kids and maybe 10 mentors helping out. EVERYBODY wants to get involved, and our whole school is riveted on what is happening with the FIRST competition, which is SO so great.
I'm mentoring our web crew as well as our animation crew, and I can saftely say that we are VERY glad to be competing (only) at the rookie level!
