If you are staying at the at any of the hotels near Peachtree Center, the MARTA passes are a really good deal. Only having to to the end of your block to get to the Peachtree Center subway station beats having to walk a mile to the Georgia Dome.
While in Atlanta, if you really want to play a good prank on some of your teammates, tell them to run up the entire flight of stairs (not the escalators!) at the Peachtree Station
before you get there. Last year, it was fun watching our driver as he ran up all eight stories of stairs.
But to be nice, if they actually do it, offer to buy them a bottle of water afterwards.
And yes, even the escalator ride seems to take five minutes!
