Re: What do you keep in your car?
I took pics today and I have to do this in two posts since I can't attach more than 5 pics to a post.
The first two photos are of my Camry.
Back seat area:
gallon container of windshield washer fluid
new wiper blades I haven't put on yet
small snow shovel
tissue box
old newspapers
there's also a first aid kit and a 12v to 110v converter under the seats not visible
Trunk area:
tool box
Craftsman ratchet set (black case doesn't show up easily)
green kick ball (my team calls it the "watermelon ball")
green folding chair
jumper cables
rain poncho
yellow rope
3 extension cords
2 power strips
12v compressor
ice scraper
nerf football
waders (Northwest box)
extra tire iron (silver thing under the football, doesn't belong to the Camry)
Not pictured are two cans of spray ice deicer, another ice scraper, snow brush, glow sticks, assorted pens, paper, straws, and a pair of safety glasses on the dashboard.
Next three pics are of my Caprice wagon that I haven't driven since November:
Front seat area:
tissue box
sun shade (silver thing on passenger floor, this is a spare car so it sits most of the time)
broken off hood ornament (visible through the steering wheel laying on top of the hump. I have a replacement from eBAy but it's too cold to fix it now)
Cargo area:
new NAPA muffler (the current one is almost nonexistent, it's what happens when a car isn't driven regularly)
new muffler clamps (red boxes)
new tarps (the car was supposed to be put in storage for the winter but those plans feel through. The tarps were supposed to be on the floor of the rental space to protect the floor from any drips)
The drivers side well in the rear:
two blankets
quart of oil (the motor goes through some oil at 170k on the odometer)
rope
ratchet clamps
bungee cords
jumper cables
25' tape measure
roll of paper towels
"CAUTION" tape
