45 pounds?! It's actually only made of 3 flat pieces of 6061 sheet metal at 0.060" thickness (the 3rd is the flip up panel display-ish thingy) and the top piece and bottom piece. As for the spacing in between the pieces, we used wood! I think it's 0.75" x 1.5" x however long... haha but altogether i'd say at max 9lbs, it's probably 7-8... (I think last year's was around 15lbs cuz we had design problems...
