Believe it or not, we drew those out and cut them with a jigsaw
(the holes with a holesaw). Lots of WD-40 and swearing (they had already been given a coat of primer, and it was getting mangled by the footplate of the saw, but it got touched up.) Hated having to cut up those nice pretty fenders, but I think it came out looking better than when we started.
POLISH703- we are using two of the small CIMs per side in a two speed gearbox. Low gear gives us, eh, I reckon around 5-6 fps, but we never really timed it. (I think that our low gears are a little too low, but we do have A LOT of torque going to the floor.
) High gear was timed with the bot up on blocks at about 14 fps, so add 120 lbs. and the drag of the big wheels and I reckon we get at least 12 in high gear.
