Even the veteran teams, like us, struggle to get respect in the school they represent. It's part of the culture that FIRST is trying to change so don't let it get you down. You don't need them to validate you to justify your program but do keep trying to get them on your side.
Just remember, this is just a stepping stone towards a bigger and better future.
