If you can find video of 67's robot last year, you'll get a pretty good explanation. (Try soap108.com's coverage of the Einstein finals.)
Essentially, you have a robot that starts in the 28x38x60" box. Usually, there are two wheels touching the floor. As a match begins, the robot tips over so that it drives on the 38"x60" dimension. (Last year, for example, 67 would start in the middle position and would ride down the pipe on one of the goals.)
