Re: Buckeye 2006
Now that the bad is out of the way, here's the good!
I loved the pit setup with the mixing of new and old. The pits were managed very well too.
The queuers did a phenomenal job keeping everyone on pace and getting everyone ready for the matches.
The social was a lot of fun (at the Great Lakes Science Center) and I know my teams enjoyed it.
The announcers kept the crowd energetic and enthusiastic during the delays.
Something funny I noticed was that TWICE in a match, when the head ref threw a flag, someone's little guy ran to it, picked it up, and gave it back to him.
Congratulations to Flo from 461 for his WFA - it was very much deserved.
Congrats as well to all of the finalists and winners (494, can you rethink coming to Milwaukee???? We're scared of you!!!), and especially 461 for Engineering Inspiration, 48 for Chairman's, 1747 for blinding everyone..er..I mean Rookie Inspiration (I love the shirts!), and 1714 for Rookie All-Star (I know, I'm affiliated, but I can still congratulate them since I'm not ACTUALLY part of their team).
