FLL team #11, the RoboManiacs, have been invited to represent the USA at the FLL European Championships in Eindhoven, Netherlands from May 5-6, 2006. The RoboManiacs took the World Championship at the Georgia Dome last April and qualified for international competition again this year by taking the Robot Performance Championship at the Maryland State FLL tournament this past January.
In Eindhoven, the RoboManiacs will represent the USA against 63 teams from more than 20 countries. We are asking sponsors & supporters to "buy miles" to send the team to the Netherlands. Each mile will cost $5. We need to "sell" 4,000 miles to get to the tournament. All sponsors and supporters will be listed on the team website. Sponsors and supporters "buying" a minimum of 100 miles will have their name/logo on the back of the team shirts at the tournament.
