[FF]: Fantasy First News
Ok I'm surprised we haven't tried this before but lets give it a shot. Why don't we get a status report on all of the leagues?
Today is March 20, we are halfway into the FF season, so where do all of our leagues stand?
- Week One Regionals
- BAE - Done, thanks Levin571 - Congrats iCurtis!
- NJ - Still needs to be scored, all signs say Dan Hoizner won
- VCU - Still needs to be scored, Ed and Henry are getting impatient
- PNW - First time we have ever done this regional, thanks and congrats to Steve Howland for winning it as well as being a great commissioner. It was possibly the closest league yet with the Top scores being 49,48,47.
- Week Two Regionals
- UCF - Still needs to be scored, nobody really knows who won
- UTC #1 - Thanks Ashley and Heretic121 - Congrats to Alex Pelan, a winner in a close race
- UTC #2 - Done, thanks Steve Howland - Congrats Henry_222!
- Pittsburgh - Thank you Freddy, pulled off your first FF regional - Congrats to Tim Delles
- FLR - Great Job Jay, Ed gets win number 1 for the season
- Buckeye - Travis got this done pretty quick, thanks again, oh he won too!
- GLR - Thanks to DjAlamose for setting it up and running it, also scoring it really quick. I won with a score of 118, guess I should play with my user name as Ryan more often.
- Week Three Regionals
- Boilermaker #1 - Well the draft never happened, so I guess it's the first abandoned regional of the year :tear:
- Boilermaker #2 - The First league using the new [FF] tags, and it didn't fall apart like it's sister league. Still needs to be scored.
- Detroit - Just needs to be scored, looks like it may be close
- Chesapeake - Freddy says wait up the scores should be done soon, it'll be interesting to see who wins this one.
- Week Four Regionals
- New York City - all done drafting for the most part, make sure you have a pick competition starts Thursday
- Boston - Very close to being completely done, see everyone at the regional Thursday!
- SoCal - Realllly Needs to finish, make sure you check it!
- Waterloo - Almost done
- Week Five Regionals
- Israel - Looks like we are just waiting for competition now, hope this works out!
- Palmetto - Still Drafting, Billfred is doing a great job as commissioner, check here and see if you still need to pick up some teams
- Vegas - Still Drafting, sorry for holding it up I just made my pick. Check here and make sure your ready to draft.
- West Michigan - Drafting is getting under way, keep an eye on this
- GTR - This is the one everyone should really really really be keeping tabs on, there are a lot of people, a ton of teams, and the deadline for drafting is approaching quick.
- Lone Star - The Texas FF is currently in Draft mode, it started today so everyone in it should check in.
- Colorado - Sign ups are going on now, So go and sign up here. Be aware also that the window for this to happen is very tight.
- Philly - Draft is almost done, a few people (including myself) have their last picks to make, so check the thread because trading is opening up.
- Other
- General Championships - The biggest event we offer is now up to 45 sign ups and we are still open! Look for the Draft to begin after the Week 5 regionals are over.
- Pre-Kickoff - All is going well, however the community needs someone's help. We need a good source for all of the basic information for the regionals that have happened, FIRST historically though hosts the data, is awful about it. We need a source that can give us the: Matches Won/Matches Lost/Tie as well as High Score/Chairman's/The Rookie Awards/Woodie Flowers/Seeding/etc. You get the idea, what we need is a one stop shop for General Statistics on all events, check the thread for more info on it.
- Champ Invite League - Invites for this years Elites should be going out as soon as the scoring for the last week of regionals is over. Draft will start a few days after a finalized List.
- I don't know where to put this but this link maybe helpful.
