The DJ at UTC last year used what I think was called Dell Music Jukebox or something like that. It included effects such as repeat, and all kinds of fancy "I'm more than a weekender DJ, and do this kind of stuff for a living, or at least know what I'm talking about" audio sampling tools for listening pleasure.

That to me is what it's all about. It's not about plugging your iPod in and letting it go on shuffle mode, but actually caring what you are playing and how it sets the mood for the entire venue, and events unfolding on and off the playing field.
