Hey, thanks! It was an awesome experience for me and the whole team. To be honest, I was surprised we did so well. As you could probably guess from looking at our robot, we got as far as we did on the strength of our drive team and pit crew.
I think we had the only biodegradable robot in the event! Oh yeah, it wasn't my idea to add the "1" and "7" on either end of your big 75 in the stands, but I thought it was pretty funny.
Thanks again to our alliance partners, teams 571 and 1100 - boy, I showed Blair with my memory skills.
After playing defense against 1100 for 3 straight mathces on Saturday, we had to be allied with them at least once. It's too bad we drew the number one seed, but I think we put up a pretty good fight - not everyone can be George Mason. The highlight of the quarterfinals was pinning 233 in autonomous, though 121 ruined our fun by scoring anyway. Oh, and I'll apologize for my driver for running over the Mechanicats in the final seconds of the match!
