Re: MIT vs. Stanford

Stanford has an excellent Robotics and computer science program and it is sure to get even better. After their recent victory in the Grand challenge government grants and private research funding is starting to come in. If you have any interest in AI then stanford is yourbest bet by far. Both schools have big reputations and many big name professors.

MIT may be colder than Stanford but it is right across the river from Boston which has become one of the greatest college towns (cities) in the country. In the end you should visit both talk to students and then sit down and decide what is most important to you.
