that could have been outstanding. If you had been there when she noticed them - pick one up, smell it, squeeze it between your fingers, then lick your finger and say "Field Mouse!"

One of the best 4/1 jokes Ive heard: an engineering friend of mine noticed a maintance guy outside cleaning the gutters on the building on the other side of the parking lot, on top of a tall ladder, with a boom box tuned to a local radio station on the ground by the ladder. The engineer put a small antenna on an RF signal generator and tuned it to the same frequency, with a 120HZ FM modulation. This made the boom box start howling.

The guy climbs down the ladder and picks up the radio, and the engineer turned the RF off, so the music came back on. He climbs the ladder again - RF goes on again - howling again - maintance guy climbs back down and just as he picks up the radio it stops.

Third time is the charm, right? Gets to the top of the ladder, radio starts howling again, he climbs back down, picks up the radio and throws it about 30 yards across the parking lot !
