Re: Has anyone thought of this college course before?

Seems mighty interesting to me. I had never seem a program like this before, but I figured there would have to be something out there, what with all the new robotic assembly machines.
I'd be interested in a program like this, I think. (I've still got two years of high school) Be nice if it was offered at an in-state college, but it may be and I just don't know about it.
I think that FIRST kids would have an advantage, for many of the topics covered are learned during the build season.
It's suprising that the school doesn't have a team; this line seems mighty FIRSTish- "Emphasis is placed on analysis and troubleshooting of system faults as well as safety and craftsmanship."
