Some of the things to pay attention to with this position:

3. There is a "living allowance" that amounts to about $10,500-tax free (will vary by state). The educational stipend available at the end of the year is about $4,725 OR end-of-year cash award is about $1200. This is the extent of the reimbursement (plus an expense account that will cover mileage, some supplies, etc)
4. This is full-time.
5. The VISTA member will develop a written work plan, and be accountable for accomplishing these tasks. There will be lots of documentation required.
6. The VISTA member will be expected to work with all FIRST programs, including FRC, FLL and FVC.
7. The VISTA members will serve with FIRST in one-year increments, up to 3 years.
