Hopefully this is only one step in the continued growth of Brazil in FIRST. In 2005, there were only 12 Israeli team, this year it more than doubled to 26. Seeing as Brazil already has 5 teams, including a 2 time Regional Champion and Regional Chairman's Award winner in 383, and 25 interested highschools, there is huge potential for growth. (Note that, EVERY, I mean EVERY, Brazilian team has won at least 1 award, even the two rookies. 383 isn't the only Brazilian team who has sucess, I just remember them from when they attended the VCU regional.
