Re: You know you've overdosed on FIRST when...
-When the word "first" has ceased to mean anything numerical. Any time you see it you think someone must be talking about robotics.
-When you have a major paper/project due the next day but you get into a conversation with a member of another team and get distracted anyway.
-When you manage to convince your mother, father, step-father, grandfather, and grandmother to come to WPI because it's right after graduation.
-When aforementioned grandfather decides that you are his only grandchild because you are on robotics, are planning on being an electrical engineer, and are going to Syracuse University (Grandfather is an electrical engineer and SU football fan)
-When songs you have heard once at a robotics competition (that your team wasn't even playing at) still remind you of robotics even though you have heard the song a million times in other places.
-You went to four regionals this year. Two your team played in (BAE, Chesapeake) and two that they didn't (UTC, Boston)
-You had a countdown to kickoff for months... including spending Christmas wishing January would hurry up and get here.
-Your room is decorated in Leis from Bash, Medals, and stuff with smiles on it.
-A member of your team found the smiley store online and got your team a gift-certificate because the site made your BAE team pic the smiley picture of the week.
-When the aforementioned team member also found out that Walmart is trying to Trademark the smile and you sent her a long email about the evils of corporate America (except for companies that sponsor teams) and about how you use the smile more than Walmart anyways.
-When you become naturally attracted to items of clothing, decorations, etc. in your team color when you never owned anything in that color before.
I've just discovered that the spell check doesn't recognize Walmart as a word... that's okay, they are evil anyways.
