Flat Pattern "Situation"
I was wondering if it is possible to get a curved, or "bent" piece of sheetmetal, and then turn it into a flat pattern. The general trends in inventor dont allow stuff like this, but i was wondering if there was something i missed. A common application of this would be like the planks used on the hull of a boat (generally cut and then shaped after being steamed).
alright, from what i hear, sheet metal is going to vastly improved in version twelve, and hopefully allow this sort of thing if it isnt already possible. input?
