Re: Flock - the web browser

I actually like this browser, it has all the right plugins, though the blogging doesn't always work completely (when submitting a post to a WordPress blog, it hangs at the data submission process and doesn't say when its completed).

Pros:
  • Based on Firefox
  • Great photo feed support from Photobucket and Flickr
  • Built-in Blogging Support (Right click an image, link, or page and hit "Blog This")
  • Nearly all Firefox plugins work and Flock has released a converter for them
  • Built-in RSS Reader
Cons:
  • No built in support for Google Video, YouTube, Photobucket Video, etc.
  • A lot of Yahoo stuff is tied to it, sometimes without the ability to change the setting (I prefer Google over Yahoo for searching)
  • One word: Beta

Overall, its a really great browser with some pretty cool features that build upon Firefox's familiar interface and code compliancy. I'll still use it during the beta phases since its got some features that I wish I had back with Firefox.
